A big thank you to everyone who exhibited and attended the Connecting Tavistock Show …
… on 30th October at The Bedford Hotel, Tavistock, Devon, great venue and great networking. The Chamber was pleased to hear from so many of the exhibitors that they had achieved their objectives for the day.
Thank you to our fantastic sponsors: Energie, Identity Studio, Stags and Links Magazines
See our Facebook page for videos, pictures and more from the show day.
The Chamber of Commerce provides a focal point for businesses from Tavistock and the surrounding area to get together to discuss what is happening that impacts on the local economy, and a chance to meet and learn about each other.
Why do we do this? Because we believe Tavistock is not only a fantastic place to live and socialise, but is also excellent for shopping and doing business.
Our superb town centre has an enviable mix of shops, from specialist independent outlets to well-known national chains, and in-between and above them are offices where businesses provide services covering just about every aspect of life. Look a bit wider and you will find retail parks and industrial estates around the outskirts of the town, as well as shops, units and people working in home offices in the villages surrounding Tavistock.
In all of these locations, across all of these sectors, you will find our members – the skilled individuals and teams who are experts in their products and services, keen to help whether the buyer is an individual or a business.
They need a voice, and we are that voice.
Our members are mostly business owners – some on their own in self-employment and some heading up a small business with a few staff, while others represent a larger employer or a local charity – and all of them share the desire to make Tavistock a better place to trade and live.
Why not come and join us? Our regular monthly meetings are listed on the Events page.
