On Thursday 15th June, Mark Moore, currently serving with the Devon and Cornwall Police, kindly presented an overview of how cyber crime is impacting small businesses.

We all know someone who has been scammed, hacked or just receives endless dubious emails, and the presentation set out the simple measures that you can take to safeguard your business.

Mark introduced the work of the South West Cyber Resilience Centre, which has been set up by regional policing to provide ongoing protection and an accessible route to cyber support. If you’ve previously found cyber security too confusing, too technical or too expensive, you will have found the session helpful in plotting a way forward.
